This is my version of me in that "Obama Hope Poster." Are you all aware of what it is? If not, then just look it up. But this is me with my name and my edits.
I used Photobooth to take my picture as my source photo and all the edits in Photoshop. It's quite a complicated project with all the different colors and layers, but it proved to be not that hard. The point of this is to have simple lines and color to define my features.
Another favorite project. :)

CubeeCraft

Cubeecraft, is boxed art that defines a character in its simplest form. No glue or tape needed. Just folding; it's like origami, just more complicated. This character is named Katsuma from Moshi Monsters. I also don't have any idea what Moshi Monsters are, but my friend had a drawing of him and he looked pretty cool, so I decided to go with him.
This was a pretty cool project, but editing it... oh, that's quite a story.
The program I used was Adobe Illustrator. It's not quite as simple as InDesign or Photoshop and the Pen Tool; oy vey. It was quite frustrating and most times I couldn't get it to work because it's just so complicated! Ugh. But I did finish, thankfully.
I still haven't yet created it just because I've been so busy with projects. But I will. I'll make sure of it.

Magazine Cover

This, by far, has got to be my most favorite project of all time! I literally slaved over this project because I was so passionate. Music, you can probably tell, is a passion of mines. I loved the logo, which I designed myself, and all its components. I just love it. Plus the article ideas.
* I both like Union J and 1D, but sorry, I favor Union J. :P
To create this, I used InDesign. It's a bit more complicated than Photoshop, but has the same basic tools, just on a more advanced level. And it didn't have the Magic Wand Tool, so I had to export back to Photoshop for a simple change. That's just the problem, I encountered. I loved, loved this project.

National Geographic Cover

Once after creating my Franken-Darwin creature, our next project was to incorporate our creature onto a cover of our own National Geographic cover. 
Since my creature and its resolution was quite a bit small, I had to think of something creative so I didn't have to zoom in quite as much. So I input in a camera with the creature in the viewer, so it has the illusion of it being found and caught on camera. Another thing I love, is the title of "National Geographic." I had to use different layers of paint to have that effect. Cool, isn't it? The only thing That I'd change would probably be - if I had more time - the entire thing itself. If only the image resolution of the creature could've been higher.
I used Photoshop and the same basic tools. (The wonders of Photoshop and what it can do ;)

Franken-Dawinism

Fraken-Darwinism is basically taking different parts of different animals to create one monstrous creature. My "pewtle" is part penguin, green sea turtle, and a screech owl.
This took a long while and a lot of patience to create. It's a bit hard to create because one has to consider many factors; the position of the animal and which parts of the body. What I really loved is the over-lay of owl feathers that I included on the penguin body. I had to use various tools to make it look like it's authentic... But it doesn't, not really. I could have done better with more time and a more creative thought process. These are just some of my favorite animals slapped together.
The program that I used was Photoshop. It's a much bigger jump from my first project, isn't it? Same basic tools used, along with the Clone Stamp Tool, the Polygonal Lasso Tool, Patch Tool, Blur Tool, and my favorite: the Magic Wand Tool.

Class Sign

For this assignment, which is my first, I thought was so good, seeing from my point of view then. As I look back compared to what I have achieved, this is... I could have done way better. I was so proud of it back then, now... it's just... well, its pretty cool, but I've done more and achieve 10x this.

I was just learning how to use the basic options of Photoshop then, but still pretty cool. The basic tools used that were used in the making were: Text Tool, Custom Shape Tool, Rectangle Tool, and the Gradient Tool. With the Text Tool, I "warped" certain texts creating cool effects. The Paint/Fill Tool was used to color and of course the Selection Tool. And that's a wrap.
